DocuSign offers 'Realtor Edition'
E-signature firm announces branded app, Realtor discounts
By Inman News, Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Inman News
DocuSign's creation of a "Realtor Edition" eSignature service comes on the heels of an undisclosed "strategic investment" in the company by the National Association of Realtors venture capital fund, Second Century Ventures LLC.
In announcing that it was taking a stake in DocuSign in November, NAR said the company would be "the official and exclusive provider of e-sign services" for its members, who would receive special pricing and offers from DocuSign (see story).
In a press release Tuesday, DocuSign said NAR members will receive 20 percent discounts on DocuSign Basic and DocuSign Standard editions.
With Realtor Edition, NAR members will also have the option of adopting a Realtor-branded e-signature, online dashboard, and e-mail templates.
DocuSign Realtor Edition works with a variety of real estate software tools, including e-forms and online file management systems, the company said, and allows users to control the recipient signing order and set automated recipient signing reminders.
More than 20,000 real estate professionals have used DocuSign, the company said, up from the 18,000 claimed in November.
